Aims and Scope: The Nucleus is an international, multidisciplinary peer-reviewed quarterly academic open access journal. The Nucleus offers platform to scientists and engineers to publish their original and current research of high scientific value in all areas of natural and applied sciences at international level. The journal is being published electronically as well as a paper version. It is easily accessible, free of charge and is being distributed widely.

Open Access Policy: The Nucleus is an open access journal implying that all contents are freely available without charge to the users or their institutions. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author so long as the original authors and source are cited.

Abstracting and Indexing: The journal is being abstracted and indexed by Chemical Abstracts, Biological Abstracts, INIS Atom Index, Bibliography of Agriculture (USA), The Institution of Electrical Engineers Publication, Virology Abstracts (England) and Pakistan Science Abstracts. The journal is recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (Category Y).

ISSN and EISSN: The international standard serial numbers (ISSN) for the Nucleus are [0029-5698 (Print), and 2306-6539 (Online). The Nucleus is published at Pakistan Institute of Nuclear Science & Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan on behalf of Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission.

Plagiarism Policy: The journal has very strict plagiarism policy. As per policy of higher education commission of Pakistan, articles having more than nineteen percent of matching materials excluding references are rejected straight away. Authors must know that plagiarism is a professional dishonesty and is unacceptable under all circumstances. It is ethical crime whether you do it intentionally or by accident or you mean it or not.
